It’s a place in the municipality of Comano Terme in the province of Trento. In the autumn of 1890 the first consumer cooperative was established in Trentino on the initiative of don Lorenzo Guetti.

On the press at the time (1897) you can read: ”It is known that rural cooperation in Trentino was created in the Giudicarie valley and precisely in S.Croce of Bleggio, where, thanks to the now-honourable don Guetti, in the first famiglia cooperativa was established in 1891 and so was the first cassa rurale of Trentino in December 1892. These two cooperative societies were like the spark of a very big fire that spread to our whole country in just a few years, by providing all the best”.
