As simple men we have to care for this Trentino land that saw us grow up; it’s really natural that we love with great affection this nest/cradle*, that we defend it with passion; our family, our community, our valley, our province, basically our homeland, they all must be precious to us.

The Foundation Father Lorenzo Guetti was established in 2012, on the Cooperatives International Year, on initiative of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Trentino Federation of Cooperation, the Giudicarie Esteriori municipalities (Bleggio Superiore, Comano Terme, Fiavè, Stenico-Dorsino, San Lorenzo in Banale) and the valley community of Giudicarie.

The Foundation has its headquarter in Larido of Bleggio, in the Giudicarie Esteriori valley, one of the four villages of Quadra, where Father Guetti, country priest at that time, founded in 1892 the first Trentino rural bank with Raiffeisen system.

The Foundation, operational in Giudicarie and all the provincial territory, it’s a non-profit cultural institution which pursues purposes of social utility.
